I've gone through the script the first time in forever.
Nine characters, 6 of whom need to have actor who can do letter perfect lines. Oy.
There are three act one's. There's 18 odd pages of props list.
I'll need to contact Mr. Oddson and find out if he can teach someone how to do a pratfall down a set of stairs.
I need to have an actor who's willing to do that without taking KWLT to court.
I need KWLT's BoD not to have a conniption when they see that in the list of requirements.
I need a "lovely young thing" (female) who's willing to spend half of each act in her underwear - thanks to Butler, I know that's not nearly so hard to do.
I need actors from ages early 20's to likely 50-60-ish, or could pass for that.
I need to make friends with a florist shop (again!!)
I need to talk to
oldgrover and see if he'd be willing to do master carpenter for the show (
macman47 is willing to do TD for me, but I think given the set requirements, having a separate MC makes sense.)
I need to touch base again with
w_fictitious about SM - do that mid-January, to give him a little breathing space for FASS recovery.
I'd need to have worked out the second pass of act one with football schematics to get it to work.
I suspect if we're still in St. Jacob's, this will be a tech nightmare. KWLT (aka, princess street), it's possible (move the audience, as opposed to move the set).
Oh - and I
need a producer for this one - no way I'm going to be able to Director/Produce this beast...
Whee....
Silly thing is I'm excited as all hell by it.
Granted, we see what the board says when I actually submit the application.
