[livejournal.com profile] neeuqdrazil, how do I love thee, let me count the ways....

You make me laugh - I am assured of having fun the painfully few times I get to see you in person.
You listen to me, often with your whole body. I never doubt I have your attention.
Your smile lights up your face when you see me - it's nice being appreciated and missed.
You lead me into temptation (and cool stores in Kensington Market).
Warm hugs I can snuggle down in without feeling like I have to keep track of how long I'm doing it....

Another one down - this time off the art list. 6 stranded wool, with main body in King Charles brocade pattern. Looks better in person than this photo.

Battle of the Bards is a monthly competitive coffee house that I compete in. (for those of you who haven't heard the spiel before)

This month's Battle of the Bards will be held this Friday, November 18 at 8pm at the Button Factory (aka the Waterloo Community Arts Centre) Doors open at 7:30 and tickets are $5 in advance (email bardsbattle@gmail.com) or $8 at the door.

I'm going to be singing (eep!) with the brilliant guitar work of [livejournal.com profile] kragars_shadow. I also happen to know our own [livejournal.com profile] neeuqdrazil will be losing her Bards cherry - so come! Watch. Enjoy. Try not to point while you laugh at me *G*

Everyone there gets to vote (3 votes per person, per half) for their favourite performers...who me, trying to stack the deck?

If you want to have a good time, have fun making fun of me, and help us WIN (who me, competative, don't know what you're talking about), please come see us!

Back from dinner after the 9-5 day of moving theAunt from one city to another.

Thank you so much to [livejournal.com profile] neeuqdrazil, [livejournal.com profile] bridgeoutahead, [livejournal.com profile] the_real_crispy, [livejournal.com profile] cielf, G, D, Sis & S'sG and theAunt's "child" - things went almost like clockwork and we got it all done.

Much thanks to [livejournal.com profile] quingawaga - the metric assload of boxes was vastly appreciated (and got voraciously eaten by the kitchen & theAunt's book collection. Fortunately, others brought boxes, plus the nice VOICEOFGOD neighbour from across the way who had *just* moved in and unloaded and wondered if we could use boxes from his move too.

It all worked.

I learned that next time I make labels of "fragile" and "heavy" too.

And I have great friends.

Thanks again.
