Bigotry is wrong and all, but I have a beef. Jews control the money, they control who gets into power. Gods forbid you ever actually try to get into their "special" little world. Stupid rituals, stupid rules, and if you make the mistake of falling in love with one and want to convert, there's a line a mile deep of sheer raving bullshit you have to go through before they believe you really want to become Jewish, and sometimes even then, they don't let you.
Offensive as all hell, isn't it?
Do a replace of Jewish for American.
Just because you don't think that you're hurting anyone because you're a Canadian trashing Americans doesn't mean it doesn't hit home. Just because you didn't mean my husband or my son doesn't mean I can read your mind and know that.
I know I am guilty of generalizations as well. Congrats, I'm human. It is one of the things I've been working on improving, because I've watched the internal anger and betrayal my husband has dealt with over the years listening to people who claim to be friends here tearing into "Americans". I have zero intention of stepping back on this now, especially as I have a small boy who doesn't need yet another reason to feel like people hate him for things he has not power over.
If it's offensive with one tag, it's offensive. Period.
