Thoughts from last night

Good

• LB playing in the tub. For close to 45 minutes. Refused to come out (this from the child that until recently hated baths). Daddy decided that the water was too cold and pulled the drain.


• The look on LB's face as he figured out the jig was up - put his toy on the tub "arm" ledge, that was under water earlier, as the water was draining - and realised the water was draining.


• Mellow time with LB watching his beloved Big Bird.


• Putting LB to sleep in under 10 minutes from the end of BB.

Bad

• LB waking screaming at 12:30 - and needed to be mollified for about 15 minutes by Mummy (and only Mummy, damn you! - Daddy tried...LB was having none of that)


• LB wanting breakfast at 5:45am - convinced him to go back to sleep for about 30 minutes.


• Giving LB the breakfast he wanted, only to have him discard it in favour for the cat's soft food (which Mummy wouldn't let him have) that Mummy was trying to sneak drugs into the sick cat with.

*amused sigh*
He is definately getting more interesting.

I found out he knows a word I didn't know he did - "Turn" - as in "I want a turn"
