Japanese streets are *narrow*.
Man are they ever.
Streets that I'd barely call a one way at home, and a tight one at that, are apparently two ways here.
I spend a lot of time with my eyes shut, or searching madly for a set of controls (made worse because I'm sitting in the usual "drivers spot" - just that it's right hand drive).
Did I mention that my grandfather's eyesight isn't so hot?
Dear gods, let me get out of this without having to find out what the accident process is in Japan.
At least we're never going that fast...side streets seem to have a top speed of about 35km.
Oy.
But having a window where you can type and watch preditory birds swooping around is pretty cool.
