When I call your company and say "here's my problem, I have measurements, but I really don't know enough about what is out there to tell you I need X, can I get your recommendations, please and thank you?", telling me that you should be able to solve my problem, you're going to email me a quotation and explanation later today goes a long way to making me a happy girl.

I don't mind if you tell me you can't help me. Hell, I prefer honesty. But dude - this is the first guy I've spoken to who's been reasonable about the discussion.

If this works out, I'll post the name/contact information for these guys, on the theory that useful people should be rewarded by word of mouth....
