So I'm having this lovely visit with
lovecraftienne couple days ago. In the course of wide ranging conversation, she mentions that in the next couple days, she must head to City southbound to pick up something. I mention that I also am heading to City and *must* for the In-Laws (dum-dum-dum) live there and Xmas pilgrimmages must happen. Could I help out, or is it for Xmas? It's a double-bass.
Uh..not going to fit in Revenge (the car) - not a chance.
Splits on a mini-van, suggests she.
Oooh..that could work, says I.
Some research later, and I have a minivan reservered for the trip, she has a paid for the double bass, and to the best of my knowledge, it's on it's way to my sis-in-law's house (if not already there) tonight, waiting for us to come get it.
I like it when I get to do shit like this....

I think we're at night 4 of coughing violently as soon as I lay my head down on the pillow.
I even took drugs early to give them a chance to get things under control this time, prior to sleeping.
Bugger.
At least LB seems to be doing better - daycare said he was much more his "normal" self (how can they tell normal when they've seen him for a week before he got sick?) Moreover, when we got home, after nursing, he laughed when I tickled him (not screamed, like the last week), played independantly while I made dinner (unlike the last week), and even ate some supper (extremely unlike last week).
I have my little happy boy back - yay!!
