1. We all know that your mother is Japanese, and that by inference, your father is not. How did they meet?

Father is Canadian, by way of Scotland & Ireland. They met because my paternal grandfather was stationed in Japan, and had my grandmother & father with him. My grandparents, on both sides, met and decided that they'd introduce the kids...things kind of fell out from there.

2. I keep thinking that you live in the States for some reason. Have you always lived in Canada?

Yes.

3. Do you ever see moving (to/back to) the States?

As long as the US continues to become more right wing, I can't see myself moving there any time soon. Truthfully, your president & congress scare the crap out of me.

4. In your ideal world, what would you like to do for a living?

I have this dream mess I want to do - run a small inn - be chef in it (and cook when I want to - probably one meal a day) - also be the one who makes the quilts/blankets, etc in it, as well as the "office manager" - I don't like only having one thing to do....

5. What's your favorite color?
Almost easy. RED - followed closely by black.
